Michelle Perry

President & CEO

Michelle has provided expertise and guidance to sport-related organizations focusing on strategic and business performance planning; event bidding and hosting strategies; and, sports facility analysis for concurrent competitive and recreational use.  Michelle brings 30 years of major event management experience and has a broad background in organizational bidding processes, facility management, and strategic and business development. 

Prior to launching Gamechangers Consulting, Michelle was part of TSE Consulting.  She and Dale Neuburger worked with numerous organizations, rights holders and municipalities to solve complex issues and create innovative strategies focused on achieving meaningful business outcomes.  Additionally, she spent 12 years at the NCAA overseeing the NCAA Women’s Final Four – the highest profile and most important women’s collegiate sporting event in the United States.  Her responsibilities included the oversight of tournament operations, financial management and external business development, facility operations, security protocols, game management operations and participating team coordination.

Dale Neuburger

Principal

Dale brings 30 years of experience in planning, soliciting and managing athletic events.  As a consultant, his clients include the United States Olympic Committee and 22 of its National Governing Bodies.  Dale is Vice President of FINA (International Federation for swimming), and was Assistant Chef de Mission for the US Olympic delegation in Athens and President of the United States Aquatic Sports.  He was President of the Indiana Sports Corporation for 12 years, as Indianapolis hosted more than 200 events (including three International Federation world championships) which created $2 billion in incremental economic development.  He also led the successful efforts to relocate the NCAA and National Federation of State High School Associations to Indianapolis.

Eric Archibald

Vice President, Event Development

Eric brings more than 15 years of sports event management experience to the team, with a focus on event development and event operations and staffing.

Eric spent 10 years with the Greater Columbus Sports Commission, most recently as the Senior Director of Events. During his time with the Sports Commission, he developed new programming and content including youth sports camps and a corporate challenge event. Under his leadership, both events grew exponentially with revenues and profits reaching six figures. 

Additionally, Eric served on the Executive Committee for the 2018 NCAA Women’s Final Four and 2016 NHL All-Star Weekend and was involved in planning many other notable events including The Presidents Cup, U.S. Senior Open and two NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series events.

Prior to GCSC, Eric got his start in the sports industry working for three years in Minor League Baseball for the Columbus Clippers. Following his time with the Clippers he spent five years working in the professional golf industry leading sponsorship sales efforts, golf tournament operations and volunteer management. Eric is an Ohio State alumnus receiving both a Master of Arts in Sports Management and a Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Sports Marketing from The Max M. Fisher College of Business.
